Brand-New Smartphones and Gadgets for Autumn 2017

Where have you been? New smartphones and gadgets are already in the shops, waiting for you to invest! September turned out to be filled with exciting events and innovations, so it’s probably time we remember at least some of them.

Apple hits again: iPhone X, iPhone 8, and iPhone 8 plus

It’s been already 10 years since first iPhone dropped on the market. Can you believe it? We can’t either. But, here is iPhone X (pronounced “ten”) - so far the most stylish and talked about product of all it’s predecessors.

Gorgeous iPhone X

  • Future is here. Apple takes a step further into design and technology, removing Touch ID Home button and fully relying on face recognition to gain access to the phone. This makes the screen 5.8 inches in size, which is roughly the same as iPhone 8;
  • iOS 11, that introduces a spectre of new functions and technology, including new programming language - Swift 4 ;
  • Apple A11 Bionic processor;
  • 64GB and 256GB storage options;
  • Wireless charging;
  • Dual 12Mp camera with dual-OIS.

You can already pre-order iPhone X from 27th of October and the actual sale starts on the 3rd of November.

iPhone 8 & iPhone 8 plus

Despite iPhone X has drawn all the attention, the usual updates - iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 plus - also have some improvements from the latest version.

  • New glass rear panel - the most durable ever in smartphone, or so says Apple;
  • Support of the wireless charger (although the charger didn’t make it to the set);
  • Apple A11 Bionic processor;
  • 64GB and 256GB storage options;
  • Optimisation for augmented reality;
  • 12MP camera.

Pre-order starts on 15th of September and on the 22nd it will already be in shops.

Affordable Motorola Moto G5s & G5s Plus

Probably the best value phones on the list - costing £219 and £259 respectively. G5s and G5s are special editions of the earlier released G5 and G5s. There are some upgrades, like sleek design with a metal unibody, increased battery capacity, 16MP camera and 5.2in screen.

On sale from early August, check them out!

Big Samsung Galaxy Note 8
Samsung Galaxy Note

So, the new Galaxy Note is really big in size and our expectations of it is even bigger.

  • Large 6.3 inches Quad-HD SuperAMOLED Infinity Display with support for the enhanced S Pen stylus;
  • A dual-camera, with twin telephoto and wide-angle 12MP lenses that both offer OIS;
  • A snapdragon 835 processor;
  • 6GB of RAM;
  • 64GB of storage with microSD support;
  • IP68 waterproofing and a 3,300mAh battery.

Other Smartphones of August-September

  • Motorola Moto Z2 Force - ShatterShield screen, Quad-HD 5.5in AMOLED display, 6mm thin, dual 12Mp cameras, the Snapdragon 835 processor, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage with microSD support.
  • Sony Xperia XZ1 & XZ1 Compact - 5.2in screen Xperia XZ1, smaller 4.6in Xperia XZ1, Snapdragon 835, 4GB of RAM, dual-camera, HDR screen, high-res audio support, stereo speakers and 19Mp cameras.
  • LG V30 - FullVision Display phone with a 6 inches screen, snapdragon 835 processor, 4GB of RAM, dual-camera 16MP with a large f/1.6 aperture. Some predict that this new Android smartphone can become the one that ticks all the boxes – and moreover one that really takes on the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.

Ultra-thin ASUS Zenbook Flip S

The world’s thinnest convertible from Asos that can be a Laptop, Tent, Presentation and Tablet.

  • 13.3-inch 4K touchscreen display that flips around;
  • 1.1 kilograms of weight and 11mm 0.43 inches thick(!);
  • Windows 10;
  • Asus Pen for writing and drawing using Windows Ink;
  • Fingerprint sensor, similar to the ones on smartphones;
  • Intel Core i7-7500 processor;
  • Two USB Type-C ports.

Exciting, isn’t it?

Elegant Apple Watch

We have started with iPhone X, why don’t we end with Apple Watch? We all know that the company gets all the favour these days and it is well-deserved, indeed.

New edition of watches - now in ceramic. Scratch resistant four times as hard as stainless steel case is certainly something that can win over a potential client. Oh, nevermind, now you can even make calls! A convenient way to stay connected at all times of the day - right?

More To Come

As technology advances, we get a chance to experience these innovations that in many aspects help in our life and work. You have all the information now. One thing that is left is to make a choice or wait for an updated version. It will be out soon, anyway!
