Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology is a quick and efficient way to label and track inventory. It uses radio waves to communicate information between a tag and a reader. Compared to traditional barcode systems, RFID technology has many advantages, including faster speed, greater accuracy, and longer range. It enables companies to quickly and easily track inventory in real-time, reducing the risk of out-of-stock items, and improving efficiency. Additionally, RFID technology is useful in the healthcare industry for tracking medical supplies, equipment, and patients. Our engineers created a system for the Eastern Australia railway network that retrieves data from RFIDs installed in transponders, stores it in a database, and analyzes it to create regular reports.
